How to get rid of cellulite on thighs? 10 Useful tips

The unsightly lumps and bumps that can appear on your bottom, your arms and thighs that we call cellulite; it can be genetic, but, in 70% of cases it is lifestyle choices that cause it. There can be many causes: too much fat and salt in the diet, smoking, insufficient exercise and even wearing your underwear too tight can cause it. 1. Massage your thighs

8. Exfoliate your thighs

Exfoliating the affected area of your thighs will improve the blood supply and help to tone the skin. If you use a coffee based exfoliator, or make your own with coffee grinds and olive oil, you will get the benefits of the massaging action and the caffeine in the coffee will also tighten up your skin. You can also mix sea salt or sugar with coconut oil to prepare your own homemade anti-cellulite exfoliator.

9. Brush your skin

To help massage your cellulite away, try brushing the skin of your thighs with a purpose made skin brush. They are not expensive, and if you use them regularly and brush the affected area in a firm, circular motion it will stimulate the blood flow, remove dead skin cells and encourage new cell growth, reducing the appearance of cellulite.

10. Hide cellulite with self-tanner

If you are finding it hard to get rid of cellulite on your thighs, you can hide it with a light coat of a tanning lotion. Tanned skin does hide the signs of cellulite, but remember to apply it all over your legs or it will just draw attention to your thighs.
