Blush is a “must have” for our everyday makeup, but it truly can be our friend or foe, depending on how we apply it. Blush can be a really “miraculous freshness booster” for your face, but if you apply too much of it – your face can stat looking like a clown’s face. So, we need to find a balance!
Apply blush only on the apples of your cheeks (parts of your cheeks that stand out when you smile).
Start applying your blush about two finger widths away from your nose, it will help you to create natural fresh and “effortless” look without going overboard.
Be light handed while applying your blush, but if you’ve applied too much of it, don’t worry – just sweep a bit of translucent powder over your cheeks to neutralise excessive “rosiness”.
Another one of my favourite “blush tips” is – try to mix 2 or 3 different shades of blushes: first apply a coral one and then sweep some pink blush on top of it (good to mention again: be very light handed). The effect will be very cute and natural looking. This is my usual way of applying blush!
So, my main tip of the day is – avoid “too much” blush and the blush will be your friend!
