Avocados, otherwise known as an alligator pear, because of their shape and color, contain incredible amount of essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. As well as being delicious to eat, avocados are used in many health and beauty products including hair conditioners, face creams and bath oils, to name but a few. You can’t ignore avocados, they taste great, they do you good and they can make you look gorgeous too. Here are 25 things you may not have known about avocados:

1. Anti-aging avocado 

Benefits of avocado include anti-aging. Avocado is an amazing treatment that helps reduce wrinkles. Not only you can apply mashed avocado flesh to your skin as a facial mask, but also, when you eat avocado, it will help fight aging process from within. Everyone wants to keep their youthful good looks for as long, as possible and eating avocados can help. The antioxidants in the fruit will help to detoxify your body and help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, making your skin more supple and plump.

2. Drink avocado juice for healthy skin

For a healthy and glowing complexion, drink a cup of avocado juice a day and it will nourish and protect your skin from the inside out. How to make avocado juice? Mix one ripe avocado with a cup of milk in your blender, add some honey if you like it sweet and enjoy wonderful refreshing drink full of healthy nutrients.     Two weeks of eating avocados and my skin feels softer already! Good thing we have some avocado trees in our orchard. Just wish they are not a seasonal fruit.

    I remember eating this since I was a kid. We have more than 20 trees of different varieties. Now I thank my grandma for making ice candies/Popsicles, Ice cream, Slices avocado dip in sugar or just simply mashed it and drop some ice cubes and drizzles condensed milk. Smoothie with mango or young coconut.
    Or simply slice them in cubes with papaya, banana, mango and water melon with a scoop of purple yam ice cream and Nestlé heavy cream.
    It’s Heavenly.
    Now still eat avocado like this.
    Many have said I look only 25.😊
    I am actually turning 44.

    i love avocado! i eat one a day. although its high calorie, it did NOT make me gain any weight, i lost a lot of weight by just eating lemons and avocado and one meal of turkey meat everyday. i love food and cant go hungry but these lemons burn fat and avocados fill you up! its a great weight control diet.

    I have used fruit for three weeks and realised that I am improving my eye sight, a spot was dancing, it has disappeared, I was seeing double, trible light bulbs while driving, now, it is just double, it appears to be improving eye sight a lot.

    Hey my face is very oil,and am prone to acne, I have gone to doctors but all they gave me is a lotion, this lotion is not helping me at all making me even more oily and too much acne.please help me what must I do I can’t even go out for an invitation because my face is looking terrible

    I start eat Avocado since 3 weeks. My hair much much better stronger and shiny. i just eat every two days avocado wit a lime juice and sea salt. I really recommend include avocado in diet.
