The way you begin your day usually influences all the circumstances you encounter and sets up certain mood for the whole 24 hours. Beginning your day in a right positive mood with a purpose increases your chances of success dramatically. Let’s talk about ways happy and successful people start their day:
1) Positive morning visualisation. Tony Robins (my favourite self development expert) already explained the importance of starting your day with gratitude meditation or visualisation. Only 15 minutes of positive visualisation in the morning can change your life forever. Briefly, try to spend about 15 minutes every morning thinking about everything you are grateful for and feel this sincere gratitude inside your heart. This will set a great positive note for your whole day and, if you do it regularly, you will become extremely positive and grateful person which will result in living more fulfilled and happy life.
2) Start your day early. Most successful, efficient and happy people wake up early. If you practice being an “early bird” – your energy will be higher and you will be able to accomplish more in your day.
3) Healthy breakfast. What we put into our body creates our actual body. So, in order to get great supply of energy make it your habit to eat healthy breakfast. It can be an oatmeal with dried fruits and nuts or a spinach omelet with fresh orange juice…The most important is to enjoy it! By eating healthy breakfast you show true care and love towards your body and it will reward you with vibrant health, high energy levels and therefore – great mood.
4) Get inspired every morning. Find things that motivate you: read some inspirational quotes, listen to the music that puts you into high spirits, watch short video inspiration or read positive affirmations that make you feel great. (It’s definitely a better start of the day than listening for morning news on the radio which are usually filled with negativity). When you set positive note in the morning your whole day will unfold beautifully!
5) Being present in the moment. Many people rush and worry about future or past experiences. Try to change this “trapping” routine by following the example of successful and smart people – they’ve learned that true happiness belongs to the present moment, so live your morning fully and completely by paying attention to it and enjoying every moment of the starting of your new day. Focus on the now and you will discover how amazing it feels to be here and now, awake and happy.
6) Start your day with a smile and chose happiness. Yes, happiness is a choice and you are free to be happy or to be miserable, it’s all up to you. So, chose life, chose happiness and chose to be free of worry. Start your morning with a smile, because when you smile – the whole of your body relaxes and all tension goes away. Chose happiness in the morning and the whole of your day will be happy!
7) Exercise. Doing some exercises, running or doing yoga in the morning will not only benefit your health, but also decrease stress levels and increase brain function, it will also help to boost your energy for the rest of the day, this is why exercising can be an amazing option for beginning your adventure into the new 24 hours.
