5 WAYS TO MOTIVATE YOURSELF THROUGHOUT THE DAY

Motivation is the key to success. If you are able to constantly motivate yourself, you are going to achieve great results in everything you do. Here are some tips to help you motivate yourself throughout the day:

1) Wake up early.

Early start of the day can give you more time to nourish yourself and “energize” your creative batteries. When you don’t have to rush in the morning, you can have time to mentally and physically prepare yourself to welcome the coming day. You can listen to your favorite music, do some exercises, meditate…all these things can help you start the brand new day on a positive note and maintain better mood as you go along.

2) Chose a positive affirmation (or an inspirational quote) of the day.

Every morning chose one positive affirmation or quote and repeat it many times throughout your day. If you will need some motivational boost, remind yourself this positive quotation or thought, it will help you maintain bright and optimistic disposition during the entire day. And yes, remember to love and believe in yourself. Never put yourself down, even inwardly. Remind yourself often about your true worth and unlimited potential. Let a smile be your umbrella on a rainy day!

3) Just do it!

This famous slogan of Nike says it all. Oftentimes, we have a tendency to put things aside, procrastinate or doubt. The best “cure” to all of these is action! Action can wipe away uncertainty and fears. Nothing can make you lose the game, except yourself. Therefore, when you know that all the power is inside your own being, dare, act and win! If you use this thought as your daily motivation, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals!

4) Failures don’t exist! All is experience (or lesson)!

When you are facing a problem, make sure to remind yourself that all problems have solutions. Problem (or failure) is, actually, a positive thing, because it can lead you toward the change of direction. But if you let negative thoughts enter your mind – you lose big part of your energy! If you dwell on the problem – you can start feeling helpless and powerless. Change your thoughts and your life will change it’s direction. Right (positive) attitude is the key to a happy and fulfilled life! Try to see the glass half full, instead of half empty, see failures as experiences and, instead of contemplating the problem, focus on the solution.

5) Help others. 

Helping other people always motivates. When you help someone to solve their problem – you turn your focus away from your own difficulties. It doesn’t mean that you run away from them, you just start seeing your problems as less terrifying. On the other hand, gratitude received from a person whom you’ve helped or just the inner knowing of bringing goodness into somebody’s world, produces massive positive emotions! The conclusion: in order to make your life better, help improve other people’s lives.
