1) Olive oil – goodness for your skin and hair!
This oil might sound familiar and, probably, you encounter the bottle of olive oil in your kitchen every day without knowing about its amazing benefits. Rich in vitamins (such as A, B, E, D, K), olive oil is very beneficial both for your hair and skin.
I, personally, love using it as my after shower body lotion. It makes my skin feel baby soft and nourished. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, olive oil can be used as a natural face moisturizer. You can also add a little bit olive oil into your bathtub for a pleasant and healthy soak.
Olive oil can also provide great relief to damaged hair and give new life to dry strands, hydrating, moisturizing and gently caring for your locks.

5 NOURISHING OILS FOR YOUR SKIN AND HAIR + HOMEMADE FACE MASKS

Quick tip: Homemade beauty recipe with the use of olive oil:
To make natural nourishing body mist – mix olive oil and water in a spray bottle in proportions that you like (good proportion would be 5 table spoons of olive oil and 1 litter of water), you can add 2 drops of essential oil of your choice for pleasant odor (I, personally, love rose essential oil or lemon essential oil). Then, every time you go out of the shower, shake the bottle and mist yourself with this natural homemade moisturizer and gently massage the product into your skin. Your body will feel amazingly soft and nourished.

2) Go “au naturel” using coconut oil.
Coconut oil can be used for various beauty purposes. This oil can gently care for your face, body, hair and nails.
Coconut oil is my personal favorite! Not only this wonder oil smells amazing, but it also can help prevent aging process, fighting free radicals and nourishing the skin. Coconut oil can be used for sunbathing or it can be your natural soothing beauty treatment for after sun exposure. It’s also a wonderful makeup remover!
Many hair care products and, especially, conditioners have coconut oil in the list of ingredients and this is no accident. Coconut oil can easily penetrate hair follicles and nourish your locks from within. If you use coconut oil hair mask for deep-conditioning once a week – you will see an amazing difference in the way your hair looks, feels and shines. Just apply coconut oil on your hair (you can warm it up a little bit, but make sure it’s not too hot, it must be comfortable to touch); massage the oil into your scalp and spread the rest on the length of your hair; leave it sit on your head for at least 30 minutes (the longer – the better), then, wash and condition, as usual.

Quick tip: Homemade beauty recipe with the use of coconut oil:
You can treat yourself with inexpensive spa experience by creating this simple natural body scrub: mix coconut oil (it should be liquid) with half cup of brown sugar. Add as much oil as you need, until you obtain the paste (it shouldn’t be too liquidy), then, add a couple of drops of essential oil of your choice for better odor. For example, I love orange essential oil, it will add wonderful scent to your homemade beauty treatment and, by the way, orange essential oil is known to be the one that lifts up one’s mood and brings peace and happiness to the mind. Gently massage your body with this amazing exfoliating beauty treatment while in the shower, concentrating on areas where you might have cellulite or stretch marks, avoiding the delicate area around your chest. Your body will feel very soft and tender.
