Caffeine Makes You Pee a Lot
Because caffeine is a diuretic, it makes you want to urinate more.
Essentially, when this happens, your body works hard to store what liquids are left over in your system. Where does it store them? In your belly. This leads to a “coffee belly” for those with a slow metabolism and who drink too much coffee. It’s pretty much the same as a “beer belly,” which is also a diuretic.
