There is no doubt that drinking water is good for you and infused water tastes great, it can contain nutrients, without all the calories, and it will make drinking your eight full quota of water a day a lot more pleasurable. Drinking water has many benefits, it does boost your metabolism, it does flush out toxins from the system and it can make you feel less hungry, so here are ten great detox water recipes for you to try.

1. Citrus detox water recipe

This is really refreshing detox water that is perfect for the summer and will provide you with plenty of vitamin C and help balance the PH of your body. To make it, add the water and the ingredients in a pitcher, then stir and mash up the fruit a little and then leave for several hours in the refrigerator to infuse.

  • One sliced cucumber (medium size)
  • Half grapefruit, sliced
