10 Wonderful tips on how to get that perfect bikini body

Although you wouldn’t believe it, looking at the weather right now, we are not too far away from the summer and that means it’ll be time to hit the beaches again. If you are going away to sunnier climes this year, or you will be spending time on a beach near home, now is the time you will start thinking about toning up in time for wearing a bikini again. To help you prepare for the summer, here are ten wonderful tips that will help you shed the last few pounds and get that perfect bikini body.

1. Cut out alcohol

You’ll have plenty of time to sip cocktails at the beach bar, so you won’t miss alcohol, if you give it a rest for a few months. There are over 100 calories in the average alcoholic drink and, if add a sugary mixer, it’s a lot worse. Alcohol also slows down your metabolism, so quit drinking now and you will find it much easier to lose a few pounds in time for the summer.

2. Walk whenever you can

The easiest way to get in shape for the beach is to stop doing things the easy way all the time. When you have a choice, take the stairs instead of the elevator, and walk whenever you can instead of taking a cab. You can burn off a surprising amount of calories by simply being more active in the course of your normal day. A little bit of inconvenience now could make all the difference to your bikini body come the summer.

3. Eat lots of fibre

Fill up with fibre and you will feel less like eating all the things that you know you shouldn’t eat. Fill your plate with plenty of vegetables and eat high fibre snacks like nuts and whole grain toast. High fibre foods keep you feeling full for longer and they also provide you with a great source of slow release energy that will help stop your craving unhealthy snacks during the day.

4. Push your workout regime to the max

Think fit, from the moment you wake up and start your day off with a few push-ups and sit-ups to get you going. If you usually do five, then go for ten. If you think you can only manage ten, push it to twelve. Every little bit extra you can do will help you achieve your goal, so push all your exercise routines to the max for a few months and you will reap the rewards.

Less calories and more exercise, that’s the route to a gorgeous bikini body, so cut out the fast food and ready meals for a few months and only eat freshly prepared food made from natural ingredients. Also, if you have a refrigerator full of healthy food and your meals planned, you will be less likely to waste your money on buying in unhealthy fast food.

7. Stay well hydrated

You’ve heard it before and no doubt you will hear it again; you need to keep yourself hydrated to keep fit and healthy. When you drink plenty of water, you will feel better in yourself, you won’t feel so hungry and you’ll have clear skin and healthy looking hair. That’s just what you are going to need for those lovely hot days on the beach.

8. Add more spices and herbs to your food

Instead of adding more sugar, salt, and calorie laden dressings and sauces to your food, try adding more spices and herbs to your food instead. It will make everything taste delicious and it won’t be adding any more calories to your food.

9. Don’t pretend that you are 18 when you’re not

While it’s perfectly natural to want to look your best in a bikini, you need to be a little bit realistic about it. As we get older, our bodies do change and that’s nothing to be embarrassed about. If you still have the same trim figure that you had when you were 18, then good for you, but for the rest of us, the more rounded, mature figure, may just have to do!

10. Just be confident and have fun on the beach

No one can say what a bikini body really should look like, so whatever size and shape you are, get out on that beach and have some fun. If you are comfortable in your own body and you have plenty of self-confidence, that’s beautiful enough!

    the most thing, in my opinion, is doing exercises, the secret is right there, for example, cardio, push-ups ..etc
