Have Diabetes, Type 2 and recently read a study about white tea and the possibilities of it lowering blood sugar and how it is front line treatment in China.
I have been having a cup with my meals and I believe it is working. I am in Canada, and our fasting numbers are 4-7, with after meal numbers allowed to be 7-10, but I know prolonged numbers over 6.6 can produce damage to organs and increase the risks of complications and have been struggling to get my post meal readings under this 6.6 mark consistently. After 5 days, drinking 3-4 cups a day, I am waking up with readings in the 4s and I have not had a single reading over 5.9
I think white tea is amazing. If you want to try this for yourself (or for any of the other benefits) please remember adding milk to your cup will reduce effectiveness.
