1. Visit your dentist

Two of the common causes of bad breath are tooth decay and gum disease. If you haven’t had a check-up recently and you have developed bad breath, then your first port of call should be your dentist. Your halitosis might just be a sign that you are developing a cavity, so the sooner you get it seen, the better.

2. Drink more water

Another very simple and the most common cause of bad breath is dehydration. Your saliva contains oxygen and natural enzymes that help fight the bacteria that cause bad breath.
