10 Home remedies for teeth whitening that work

1. Lemon juice

Lemon juice has some pretty powerful bleaching properties and it is one of the ideal home remedies for teeth whitening. Make a paste of fresh lemon juice, mixed with some salt, and gently scrub your teeth with this for about a minute. After this treatment brush your teeth immediately with your favorite toothpaste, it will help prevent enamel damage. If you keep this treatment up for a couple of days, you should be able see a difference in the whiteness of your teeth. Avoid doing this treatment is you have sensitive teeth.

2. Holy Basil

Take some dried leaves of holy basil and grind them up into a powder. You can then mix the holly basil powder with your regular toothpaste, and the natural whitening properties of the leaves will brighten up your smile in no time at all.
