Ladies, we have all been there. We have all wanted to find the magic potions or secret remedies to make our hair grow longer. Well, there are no crazy magic potions or little spells that you can do to make your hair grow fast. However, there are a few tips and tricks that you can implement to aid the process of letting your hair grow. Let’s take a look…

Lay off on the heating tools

This is one of the easiest things that you can do to make your hair grow longer. When we use a straightener or curling iron, the heat can really put a strain on your hair and make it harder for the hair to breathe; it can also cause split ends, frizz, and pure damage. Instead of using hot tools, go for heatless curls or simple rollers, if you would like to style it. But if a hot tool must be used, make sure to apply a heat protectant spray to your hair before you use the straightener or curling iron.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Conditioning and moisturizing your hair is one of the best things you can do for your hair’s health. When you are trying to grow it longer, the hair needs moisture to stay healthy. Applying a deep conditioner, a hair treatment, or a warm oil to your hair (make sure it’s not too hot) can significantly improve the appearance of your locks, helping your hair stay healthy and silky.

Have a Healthy Diet

This is one of the most important health and beauty tips, because it can benefit every aspect of the body. Every part of your body needs good nourishment, so make sure to eat all your fruits, veggies, grains and proteins. You will notice that your hair will grow longer and faster, when you make healthy food choices.

Extend Your Shampoos and Conditioners

Use a dry shampoo to extend your shampoo and conditioning routine for an extra day or two. When it comes to growing your hair, you don’t want to strip the hair of all it’s natural oils. Let it build up for an extra day or so, and then continue with your haircare routine.

Take supplements/vitamins

Taking good vitamins and supplements can also aid in hair growth. There are a few vitamins that are specifically designed for boosting hair growth. Take such vitamins once a day, and you will see a huge difference. It’s best to consult a professional for choosing the right vitamins and supplements that will fit your particular needs.

Massage your scalp

Rubbing or massaging your head with your fingers can help improve blood circulation in your scalp. It will feel great, but it will also help stimulate hair follicles, making your hair grow faster.

Get regular trims

So, this may not help in growing your hair from the roots, but this is a good idea when you want your hair grow longer and look healthier. If you let your hair grow without regular trims, then you might get split ends all the way up your head. Get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks, helping prevent split ends from happening. Your hair will look a lot healthier, if you get it trimmed regularly.

Take it easy on the hair ties

If you tie your hair up and you squeeze it very tight, it can put a strain on your roots. You can either use a softer hair band or avoid to tie it very hard. You can have your hair up, by all means, but make sure you aren’t straining the roots to get that high bun you like so much.

Be patient!

Growing your hair is not going to happen overnight. If you are going from a pixie cut to long locks, you are going to need some patience. People’s hair grow at different pace, but it always takes some time. You do need to have some patience, take good care of your hair and let it do the growing naturally, just give it a time.
