Let’s continue to talk about homemade hair masks and treatments that can help you boost your natural hair growth…Feel free to read Part 1 of this article here.

Not only these hair treatments aren’t as expensive, as those you can buy in hair salons, but also, they are all natural and very effective. Let’s begin:

1) Banana and burdock root oil hair mask

– 1 ripe banana

– 7 table spoons of burdock root oil

Very rich in vitamins and various nutrients, bananas can help your hair grow faster. Of course, you can eat bananas to receive the vitamins, but also, you can make homemade hair treatments with the use of this wonderful fruit. Burdock root oil is one of the most efficient and amazing ingredients that can boost your natural hair growth and nourish your locks. Here is how you can prepare a hair mask with the use of these two natural ingredients: make a banana paste, using your blender (it’s better to chose a soft and ripe banana) and then, mix it up with 7 table spoons of burdock root oil. Massage this mask into your scalp and spread to the length of your hair. Put on a shower cup and then, towel (for better results). Wait for about 30 minutes and then, wash and condition your hair, as usual (you might need to shampoo your hair twice to wash off the mask, but it’s worth it!). If you do this treatment, at least, once a week, very soon you will see wonderful results! This mask can boost your hair growth and make your locks look a lot healthier and shinier.

2) Avocado, castor oil and honey hair mask

 – 1 ripe avocado

– 7 table spoons of castor oil

– 2 table spoons of liquid honey

This homemade hair mask is very nourishing and can not only boost your natural hair growth, but also, it can add luster to dry and damaged hair, making your locks silkier and shinier.

Make a paste out of one ripe avocado, using your blender (the paste must be very smooth, so that it will be easier to wash it off later), add 7 table spoons of castor oil and then, add 2 table spoons of liquid honey; mix well all these ingredients and apply the mask on your hair, starting from the roots and gradually spreading the mask to the length. Leave this treatment on your hair for about 30 minutes and then, wash and condition (you might need to shampoo your hair couple of times). You can do this treatment once a week for about 5 weeks, in order to see great results. This homemade hair mask is very invigorating, it will help revitalize and nourish your hair, making it look the best way possible!

3) Burdock root oil, plain cream and an egg hair mask

 – 2 table spoons of plain cream

– 5 table spoons of burdock root oil

– 1 egg

This natural hair growth mask will not only make your hair grow faster, but also, it will “breath a new life” into your locks, making your hair shinier and thicker.

Mix up the following ingredients in the bowl: 2 table spoons of thick plain cream, 5 table spoons of burdock root oil and 1 egg. Slightly warm up this treatment on a water bath (it shouldn’t be hot, it should be only ever so slightly warmed up). Massage this mask into the roots of your hair and then, spread the rest of the treatment to the length. Wrap your hair with a towel (use an old towel that you aren’t afraid to stain) and keep this mask on your head for about 2 hours. Then wash and condition your hair as usual. Do this mask once a week and see your hair get thicker, shinier and, of course, grow longer!

(Make sure that you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients of these homemade hair masks).

Never heard of burdock root oil- interesting. Thank you for all of the info! I am into natural hair vitamins more than chemically enhanced ones, so I have been researching this for a while. I have tried a lot of different things, and even changed my diet and what not. I see new growth that is thicker=)
