1. Natural hair mask for fine hair

This one takes the age old idea that beer can add volume to hair and adds a few extra ingredients to give your hair some hydration and some extra protein. Take ½ cup of flat beer and mix it with a tablespoon of olive oil and one raw egg. Massage the mixture into dry hair and leave it to sit for twenty minutes before you wash it out again with lukewarm water. Use this hair mask once every two weeks and you should soon start to see much more volume in your hair.

2. Natural hair mask for dry hair

This is a natural hair mask that will quickly liven up dry hair and bring back the softness and bounce. It includes bananas, which are very high in potassium and are great for vitalising dry hair and it has honey in, which acts as a natural humectant and locks moisture into the hair. Mash up half a banana and then stir in 2 teaspoons of coconut oil, 2 teaspoons of olive oil, and 2 teaspoons of honey. Apply the mixture to your hair and leave it on for at least half an hour to work its magic.

3. Natural hair mask for damaged hair

This mayonnaise based hair mask may not smell the sweetest, but it works wonders on damaged hair and it is especially effective on curly hair. For this one you will need one egg, three teaspoons of mayonnaise and a teaspoon of olive oil. Mix the ingredients thoroughly together, apply it to your hair, and leave it on for about half an hour. If your hair is also looking a bit dull, try adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to this mixture and that will remove any product residue from your hair.

Jut mix one egg with ¼ cup of yoghurt and ¼ cup of mayonnaise. Apply the hair mask to your hair and leave it to sit for half an hour. Remember, if you use egg in any hair mask recipe, always use cool or lukewarm water to wash it out, or the eggs will thicken and start to cook.

As an alternative, try this all natural hair mask for oily hair that will remove excess oil and regulate oil production, but won’t leave your hair and scalp feeling dry. Mash ½ a cup of strawberries and pass the pulp through a sieve to remove the pips. Then, stir in a teaspoon of lemon juice and two tablespoons of water. Mash up the flesh of one ripe banana and one ripe avocado and then stir in one tablespoon of olive oil. To fix that problem fast, make up a mixture of 4 tablespoons of aloe vera,  3 tablespoons of olive oil, and one egg yolk, apply it to your hair and leave it on for half an hour, or overnight if you can.
