For example, if you are in a stressful situation, kissing your beloved can help you to calm down and let go of the stress and worry. Kissing can improve one’s mood, relieve stress, reduce pain and even prolong our youth. “A touch or caress of the lips upon the lips, cheek, hand, or feet of another to signify affection, greeting, reverence, or physical attraction.”

Now, in many countries cheek kiss is a form of greeting and is considered to be a polite way to say ‘Hello’ (for example, in France, Switzerland and Belgium).
