10 HOME REMEDIES FOR ACNE

10 HOME REMEDIES FOR ACNE

The battle against acne can seem a never-ending story to some of us. Let me share with you 10 simple, yet effective home remedies that can help to fight the enemy of our beauty called – acne:

1) Garlic and lemon juice.

Some of us get acne on a regular basis. Here is simple way to get rid of it. Cut one clove of garlic in half and gently rub your unwanted “spot” with it, then follow up with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Apply it only on your acne spot, not all over your face. If it gets itchy, don’t scratch! Be strong! Keep it on for 5 or 10 minutes, then splash your face with water and gently wipe. (This tip is not recommended for girls with sensitive skin).

2) Toothpaste trick.

Probably you’ve already heard about it, but it’s still worth to mention. When you get a pimple, apply a tiny amount of white toothpaste straight on top of it (apply only on affected area, never on your entire face). Apply it before going to sleep. In the morning your pimple should get better.

3) Grape seed oil.

If you have an acne prone skin and you have trouble in finding a prefect moisturiser, I have a great “all natural” solution for you – grape seed oil! It’s packed with antioxidants and vitamins, it helps with acne because of it’s antibacterial properties and it doesn’t clog pores!

4) Tea tree oil.

Another popular acne remedy is tea tree oil. And it’s no wonder that it’s so effective! It has bacteria fighting properties and helps to gently treat acne. Just apply it on your pimple twice a day (preferably morning and evening) and you will see the miracle effect of it!

5) Cucumber.

Blend cucumber in your blender and apply it’s paste on your face. Not only it will freshen and nourish your skin, but it will also fight acne! Leave it on your face for about 10 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. (You can also mix cucumber paste with ‘no add ons” yogurt for better results.)

6) Mix aspirin with honey.

This simple remedy also can help in your fight with acne. Just mix crushed aspirin with pure honey (manouka honey is even better) and apply it straight on your pimple. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and gently wash your face with water.

7) Strawberries.

Not only strawberries are yummy, but also this “wonder of nature” can help you to fight pimples. Just rub it on the affected area, leave it on for 15 minutes and wash your face with water.

8) Lemon juice and salt.

If you desire even more “drying” power, try to mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with half teaspoon of salt and apply it straight on your pimple. Keep it on for 5 or 10 minutes and wash off. This is a very easy, yet effective way to win your battle for a clear and pretty face.

9) Use eye drops to reduce acne redness. It’s a very effective way to tame your acne, because eye drops contain anti-inflammatory agents.

10) Try an aspirin trick. Smash one tablet of aspirin and mix it up with water, then apply it on the area affected by acne, leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse. It’s a very effective way to fight acne.

I hope you found it useful. What are your favourite home remedies for acne? Please, share your thoughts in the comment’s section.

Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to understand a lot about this, such as you wrote the guide in it or something. I feel that you simply could do with a few p.c. to force the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.

Nice post…I wrote you a longer response but my annoying computer lost internet connection and I lost it! I’m with you though, and I’m a blogger too so I can really appreciate all the time that goes into what you do. Keep it up!
