20 Health and beauty tips for looking younger than your age

Everyone would like to look a bit younger, even if they could just knock five years off their appearance. Some people turn to injections and painful surgical procedures, in their quest for a youthful appearance, but that’s not the only way to do it. There are plenty of ways that you can look younger, that don’t involve a doctor and here are twenty of them:

1. Trim your eyebrows

Yes, something as simple, as trimming your eyebrows, can make you look younger. If your brows are the wrong shape and untrimmed, then they can actually make you look sad, as well as older.

2. Moisturize, every day

Another good tip for looking younger than your age is to moisturize your face, hands and neck every day and it will help to keep your skin supple, fresh and young looking. It’s amazing how much difference this can make, over time, so start your daily moisturizing regime today.

3. Get a good night’s sleep

Sleep gives your body a chance to refresh and rejuvenate it, and a lack of sleep can speed up the aging process. Be sure to get your full eight hours of sleep a night and give your body a chance to recover from its daytime exertions.

4. Cut down on sugar

Our next suggestion for looking younger than your age is to cut down on sugar. Too much sugar is bad for you in many ways, but did you know that it can also be the cause of wrinkles? Cut back on sugary, sweet treats and cut out the soda, and you’ll be doing yourself and your body a big favor.

5. Drink a glass of red wine a day

7. Whiten your teeth

    Greetings……Please respond ASAP. I know this is a weird and stupid question coming from a guy but i haven’t enjoyed my youthful life as I should. They say in countless articles that REGULAR exercise (more specifically weight lifting) can slow down the aging process and MAY even reverse the aging process. But Not one article discusses how avoiding the gym for a while has an effect the aging process. Till what extent does aging accelerate if you stop going to the gym for a while? AND if you decide to go back will you be able to compensate for the lost time? I am concerned because I have been working out for 5 years then I stopped for 2 and a half years. I am worried that I would have aged faster since I stopped for the time period that I mentioned. If I go back to weight lifting will I restore the time that I wasted? Is the “damage” salvageable? Is the “damage” reversible? Will it compensate for the lost 2 years and rejuvenate youthful skin as if they were never wasted? Currently I am 30 years old and I want to look younger some say I look 2-3 years younger.

      Hello Andrew, in our opinion going to the gym is just a healthy habit to have but it doesn’t affect the way you age. There are people who never go to gym, but they do, let’s say, daily walks in nature and look very young. Another good tip on how to stop and even reverse the aging process is to stop worrying about it so much. Your thoughts affect your body, and this is why it’s important to fill your mind with happy, positive and constructive thoughts. The way you believe about yourself is important. If you believe that your youth will last for a long time, it will happen this way for you. We hope it helps 😉

    This a great information. If I do this I will look younger for sure!! Now, there many things you can do to look younger. I am sure that if you smile more, you will look not just younger, also, you will look fresh, prettier, cuter, and people will see you as a very vigorous person. Now, nothing can actually win over Growth Hormone supplements when it refers to anti aging. They are great remedies to make you appear fresher and younger than your actual age.

    I’m a 32-year-old women, and already noticing forehead wrinkles and little lines beneath my eyes. I want to know what my real options are. This hurts me particularly because my beauty and especially my skin is really important for me (it is by far the part of me that I get the most physical compliments on). I think botox looks horrid and i reject it. I’m 32 for God’s sake! I’m too young to be old!
